Why FREUD sawblades are a superior quality product
|
freud®
Premium steel
Hardness: 45 Hrc
Supplied by the same steel plant, the quality remains the same. |
Competitors
Average steel
Hardness: 40-44 Hrc
Purchased by different suppliers, the quality is not always the same. |
Using the best technology and finest
materials, we are able to manufacture saw
blades with the following characteristics:
-
Precision laser cut plates with minimumtolerances.
-
Premium quality plates hardened up to 45Rockwell HRC.
-
Laser cut slots control the expansion of theblade caused by heat and centrifugal force.
-
Special carbide grade, formulated andproduced in Freud’s factories, increases the life of the tips.
-
Advanced tri-metal brazing.
-
All the blades are balanced and tuned.
-
The tuning ring can be seen on most Freudblades as a faint ring line about 3/4 thediameter of the blade. |

freud®
Laser cut
Low noise
The Freud design laser cuts dissipate blade stress over a greater area and reduce the noise level. |
Competitors
Die cut
High noise
Other designs are not as effective at reducing stress. High noise and the punching holes can lead to cracking. |
|
freud®
Tri-metal shock resistant brazing
It allows carbide tips to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability. |
Competitors
Single metal alloy brazing
Other manufacturers use just silver alloy causing the joint to develop stresses leading to cracks in the carbide and failed joints. |
